In the Australian Merino Sire Evaluation Society's Central Test Sire Evaluation Results 99Z340S ranks 2nd in Australia in 2004 and 2005 on the 3% micron premium breeding objective; 2nd on the 6%; and 6th on the 12% micron breeding objective for all Medium Fine Australian sires tested. Revised indices for 2006 caused 99Z340S to slip outside the top 25 sires but remains among the top 2-3 sires for CFW, with a low micron.
