- Micron of the adult sheep is currently at 19.1 and the GFW exceeds 6.1kg/head
- Edale's Medium Fine Wool sire 99Z 340S at mid 2005 ranked as the 2nd highest medium wool sire in the country (highest ranked in Western Australian) of the Central Test Sire Evaluation results compiled by CSIRO and the NSW Department of Primary Industries for medium wool sheep, conducted over the period 1989 to 2002 matings. Further, 99Z340S was the only sire of all the medium wool sires tested whose progeny were visually assessed to be superior in body conformation and superior in wool quality. In 2006, the ranking index was changed to introduce broader animal traits and eliminated the disinction between medium fine and superfine results. Consequently, 99Z340S fell outside the top 25 but persists as being the 3rd highest for GFW and CFW for all the tests conducted.
- 03K071, a son of 99Z340S bred from a Superfine ewe is on the elite sire list of Australian Genetic Services with the EBVs that his progeny have demonstrated so far.
- Wether Trials of commercial wethers of the Edale Medium Fine breeding rank amongst the top in W.A. for the low micron and greasy fleece weight relationship
- Edale genetics produce high yields, long staples and heavy fleece cuts per head when benchmarked against other sheep
- Micron for adult sheep has fallen from 22.8 in 1990 to 19.1 in 2006 while GFW has increased from 5.9kg/head to 6.1kg/head in 2006

Adult sheep micron and greasy fleece weight relationship is elite with respect to the Hutchins Index where 10 is the national flock average and 14 is elite for the micron/GFW relationship.

- Mothering ability of ewes rearing twins was extraordinarily high as evidenced by the W.A. Department of Agriculture trials held on-property
- Percentage of ewes that conceived (including maidens) is 84% with a potential lambing of 112% based on ultrasound testing for the 2005 lambing. Realised lambs marked to ewes mated was 87%.
